To cope with the quick growth of our company, we are looking for the following candidate:
Position: Junior electrical engineer officer
- Report to: Head of Design
- Report from: Customer & Internal Staffs
- Location: Phnom Penh
Key Role
Key duties include, but are not limited to coordinate activities: communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to develop equipment specifications, and review electrical drawing based on the applicable codes, standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling design requests working in collaboration with the sales team, management, engineering team, and meeting customer timelines and constraints (compliance, budget)
- Responsible to review all documents of the RFQ (Request For Quotation)
- Clarify with the project's sales representative the technical concerns in order to define the solutions, the selection of products to be proposed according to the project context..
- Make BOQ of the projects and estimate enclosures, cables, busbars, and accessories required
- Propose appropriate technical options to give ATS a competitive advantage
- Issue compliant statements and any internal or external technical choices justification. Attend technical meetings with clients as per project needs.
- Responsible to identify opportunities for value engineering
- Responsible to perform calculations (short circuit level, voltage drop, capacitors sizing, thermal dissipation…) if required
- Assist in the smooth transition of technical solutions requirements from pre-sale to the on-sale stage. Ensure all Pre-Sales deliverables are up to date and follow the ATS process
- Responsible for assisting in business development activities and preliminary electrical designs in pursuit of ATS Standardization Solutions/Panels across several project types, and ATS Track-records
- Support and execute the development/implementation of new technical solutions dedicated to specific applications
- Responsible to assist, propose and lead the development of simple, effective technical delivery processes to improve the production of design deliverables to time/cost/quality
- Responsible to actively assist management in the implementation of new tools/process
- Other tasks assigned by Management
Requirements
- Experience in MEP work in Cambodia as a senior electrical engineer or previous experience in panel building activity
- Strong knowledge of MV, LV distribution and control systems, keys solutions and manufacturers
- Ability to attend technical meetings with client teams
- Ability to report about technical solutions to various stakeholders
- Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering
- Professional English level (speaking and writing).
