To cope with the quick growth of our company, we are looking for the following position:

Position: Senior Sales Manager

Report to:  Director
Report from: Customer
Location: Phnom Penh

Key Role:

Management of ATS sales division based on company policies, goals, and objectives while consolidating the company’s image and reputation. Responsible for the business development, sales activities, and the sales team including but not limited to duties such as training, identifying key markets, staying on top of emerging trends, and collaborating with teams. Maintain and develop a business plan and budget for the entire company. Contribution to the development, promotion, and communication of the ATS Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.


  • Maintain a performing, ethical and friendly work environment
  • Manage budget, sales forecast, and long-term business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expenses control
  • Be accountable for the company's commercial performance - specifically sales revenue and profitability margins
  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders including contractors, consulting firms, and projects owners mostly at the senior management level
  • Responsible for solutions under the responsibility of this position include - but are not limited to: MV SWGs, LV SWGs either for distribution or motor control, busways, transformers, and MV and LV synchronization systems
  • Conduct Project risk assessment and reviews
  • Coordinate and issue relevant and compliant technical and commercial proposals to customers. This involves leading a team of sales engineers for direct sales & follow up business opportunities with key-accounts
  • Provide to the company’s design team quality input including but not limited to the comprehensive tender document, client’s technical requirement, priority level,…
  • Promote the use of Value Engineering (VE) analysis across the Department by reviewing and challenging clients design and requirement
  • Collect, share business intelligence, and coordinate commercial action with the sales departments, the sales admin department, and the directors
  • Ensure that all opportunities and quotations submitted by its department are properly logged and updated in the CRM. Manage and develop reporting tools
  • Explore new market segments for ATS expansion in collaboration with the sales & marketing team to position ATS as a technical pioneer
  • Coordinate training of sales and back-office departments such as marketing, supply chain, sales admin… Organizing and leading training for ATS new exclusive and advanced solutions & products (Busway, EMS, MV SWG), when necessary
  • Manage relationships with the senior management of the company’s key suppliers or industrial partners. Attend technical workshops and training organized by them
  • Contribute to improving existing systems, procedures, and policies
  • Work cohesively with all the company’s support functions such as marketing, smart energy solutions, finance, quality, and supply chain.

Qualifications & experience:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineer Degree or related is a plus)
  • Technical sales experience (minimum of 10 years experience) in the electrical or construction industry or related to it with a successful track record
  • Broad and in-depth business background with a high-level working knowledge of the technical aspects of design/build construction. A strong appetite to go through a quick learning process will also be considered
  • Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision-makers at companies and organizations
  • Creative talents and solution minded
  • Excellent time management and organization
  • Outstanding presentation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel as needed.
